Update Your Aadhaar: Aadhaar card is our biggest identity card, but due to many reasons there is a need to make some changes in it. Especially, updation may be required in name and address etc. Anyway, UIDAI (Unique Identification Authority of India) says that if it has been more than 10 years since you got your Aadhaar made, then you should get it updated.
UIDAI is giving special opportunity
You also have to upload some documents to keep Aadhaar updated. UIDAI has told in a latest update that it is currently giving free opportunity to Aadhaar cardholders to update their documents. You can upload your documents in Aadhaar today through online and offline mode. You are getting this service free of cost till September 14, 2023 at myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in.

Keep these things in mind while uploading documents
If you do not take care of some things while uploading the documents, then your documents can be declared invalid.
1. Keep in mind that all your documents should be valid. You can check the list of these valid documents by visiting this link https://uidai.gov.in/images/commdoc/26_JAN_2023_Aadhaar_List_of_documents_English.pdf.
2. Whatever document is uploaded, it should be in the name of the resident.
3. If uploading an image, then it should be a clear and colored image and the original copy should be scanned.
4. Create an update request only if the above conditions are met.
Where can I submit the documents?
If you have to upload documents online, then you can upload documents on myAadhaae Portal https://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/. This work can also be done offline, for this you have to go to your nearest Aadhaar service center.
