Aadhaar Update: These days, if you want to update anything in the Aadhaar card, then a golden opportunity has come for you. Actually, the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has said that no money will be taken from the cardholders for updating the Aadhaar documents. This free service will continue from March 15 to June 14, 2023.
Aadhaar Update: Aadhaar card is the biggest means of identification of people these days. Aadhaar card is needed in all kinds of government work, from opening an account in the bank, it is needed in many places. Now a gift has been given by the Central Government to the users who update the Aadhaar card online. It has been said by the government that till June 14, 2023, no charge will be taken for updating Aadhaar online. Let us tell you that earlier there was a fee of Rs 50. However, now Aadhaar card holders will be able to make Aadhaar card free of cost by uploading documents online.
However, if you update Aadhaar by going offline i.e. physical Aadhaar center, then you will be charged Rs 50 as before. The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), the organization that issued the Aadhaar number, encourages to update the Aadhaar details from time to time.
Service is free for 3 months
Now card holders will not have to pay any charge for updating Aadhaar documents. This free service will continue from March 15 to June 14, 2023. At the same time, it is being said that it has been almost 10 years since the Aadhaar card was issued. During this, the addresses and names of many people have changed. In such a situation, in view of the security reasons, it has been suggested by UIDAI to update all the Aadhaar cards. To speed up the online speed of Aadhaar update, the government has abolished the fee of Rs 50. In such a situation, if you want to make some changes in your Aadhaar card, then you can do it for free.

What can be updated online
Aadhaar can update information like name, address, birthday, gender, mobile number, email as well as biometrics like fingerprint, iris and photograph. Although some of these things are updated online, some information has to be updated offline.
How to update online?
First of all go to myAadhaar portal, where you have to click on Update your Address Online.
After this click on Proceed to Update Address.
Then a new window will open. In this you will have to enter your 12 digit Aadhaar number. Then click on Send OTP.
After this OTP will come on your registered number. Which has to be verified.
After this, the address proof has to be uploaded and submitted.
After this your Aadhaar will be updated. And 14 digit URN will be generated. With the help of this URN, you will be able to find out the Aadhaar update status and download it.
