Aadhar Update: No document to be given to update address in Aadhaar Card, this is the complete process

In such a situation, if you are changing house for any reason, then you should get the address updated in your Aadhaar card as soon as possible so that you do not face any problem later. Some documents are required to update any details in the Aadhaar card. But, if you are updating the home address, then you can update it without any documents.

How to update address

  • First of all you have to go to the official portal of UIDAI (myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/).
  • After this, go to the login option and enter the Aadhaar number and captcha.
  • After this, fill the OTP received on your registered mobile number.
  • Now go to the Aadhaar update section and click on Head Of Family (HOF) based Aadhaar update.
  • Here you have to enter the Aadhaar number of the head of the family.
  • After this you have to pay the update fee.
  • After paying the update charge, the request will go to the Head of the family.
  • As soon as the Head of the family allows this request, your Aadhaar card will be updated.

Free Aadhaar Update

UIDAI has also given the facility to Aadhaar users to update Aadhaar for free. You can update Aadhaar online for free till 14 September 2024. However, you will have to pay a charge to update Aadhaar offline. Let us tell you that a charge of Rs 50 is levied per update.
