Account Holders Alert: Now this bank will charge money for SMS alerts, follow these steps to stop the service

Axis Bank has revised its SMS service charges wherein it will now charge 25 paise per SMS or a maximum of Rs 15 for quarterly SMS service.

Axis Bank: Many account holders think that the SMS received by the bank customer on mobile are free, but this is not the case at all. Actually, information like check clearance, payment debit or payment credit comes on mobile through SMS. For that, banks charge per SMS or every quarter.

This rate came into effect from July 1, 2021, but once again Axis Bank has changed its charge and now from December 15, 2024, Axis Bank will charge 25 paise per SMS or a maximum of Rs 15 per quarter from the account holders.

These bank customers will not have to pay the charge

SMS charge will not be applicable on Axis Bank premium account holders, bank staff, salary account holders, pension account holders, small and basic accounts. If you operate any of these accounts, then you do not need to worry about SMS charge. At the same time, no charge will be made by the bank for any information or OTP message.
