Know how to do it
1. Open the official website of Unique Identification Authority of India uidai.gov.in.
2. Go to the option with Aadhaar Services i.e. Aadhaar.
3. You will see the option of “Check Aadhaar and Bank Account Linking Status” here. Click on it after which a new page will open.
4. After opening the page you will be asked for your Aadhaar number with 12 number.
5. After entering your Aadhaar number here, you will get a security code.
6. On entering this security code, an OTP will come on your registered mobile number.
7. Once you enter the OTP, you will see a link. You click on it.
8. If your bank account is linked to the Aadhaar number, you will see a message.
9. The message will say “Congratulations! Your bank Aadhaar mapping has been done.”
10. If your bank account does not appear to be linked to the Aadhaar number, then go to the respective bank and work to link your Aadhaar number to the bank account number.
