For admission in Kendriya Vidyalaya, the age till 31st March in that session is taken into consideration. If the child was born on 01 April, then that age is also considered. - Class 1 (KVS Class 1 Age Limit) – Age should be 6 years as on 31st March. Admission will be available till the age of less than 8 years.
- Class 2 (KVS Class 2 Age Limit)- 7 years and below 9 years.
- Class 3 (KVS Class 3 Age Limit)- 7 years and below 9 years.
- Class 4 (KVS Class 4 Age Limit)- 8 years and below 10 years.
- Class 5 (KVS Class 5 Age Limit) – 9 years and below 11 years.
- Class 6 (KVS Class 6 Age Limit) – 10 years and below 12 years.
- Class 7 (KVS Class 7 Age Limit)- 11 years and below 13 years.
- Class 8 (KVS Class 8 Age Limit) – 12 years and below 14 years.
- Class 9 (KVS Class 9 Age Limit)- 13 years and below 15 years.
- Class 10 (KVS Class 10 Age Limit) – 14 years and below 16 years.
- Class 11 (KVS Class 11 Age Limit)- There is no minimum or maximum age limit for admission in this. Only the student should have passed 10th in the same year.
