Let us tell you that Aadhar card has been made mandatory for children from class one to 12 studying in private and government schools of the district. Aadhar cards of children enrolled in schools will be made by organizing camps.
That’s why Aadhar is necessary
According to the report of the District Education Office, Aadhar cards of 16 thousand 134 children of the district were made in the last one month. 46 centers have been selected in the district to make Aadhar cards of children only. Out of these, the work of making and correcting Aadhar cards is going on at 27 centers. The target is to set up two Aadhar centers in each block of the district. Actually, in order to enable children studying in government schools to get the benefit of various schemes, it is also mandatory to link the Aadhar card with the bank account. It is known that while uploading the data of children on the MIS portal, the Aadhar card and bank account of all the children have to be uploaded with complete information.
New Aadhar card is being made free of cost
Let us tell you that Aadhar card of those children who do not have Aadhar card is being made free of cost. On the other hand, those who have Aadhar card but there is some mistake in it, then the parents will have to spend a fee of 50 to 100 rupees to get the card corrected. The District Education Office has said that complaints are coming about the operator taking money from the parents for making Aadhar card. In such a situation, the headmasters of the concerned school have been asked to get the Aadhar of the children made under their supervision and if money is demanded, then complain to the responsible officers in this regard.
Benefits of government schemes will be available
After uploading all the details of Aadhar and bank account, the amount of any scheme will reach the bank account of the children directly. In this way, the children will get the benefit of government schemes including bicycle, dress, napkin and scholarship scheme directly. This is the reason that now at the time of admission in the school, the children will have to give their Aadhar card and bank passbook, photo along with other information.
