Due to the farmers’ movement, the roads along the boundaries of various states from Delhi are closed. The routes to reach Ghaziabad from Delhi are open, but the roads leading to Delhi have not been opened as a precautionary measure. In the early days of the movement, the roads in Noida were also disrupted, against which a woman had approached the Supreme Court.
Hearing the case, the Supreme Court said that public roads should not be blocked during protests. The woman had asked the court to issue guidelines for evacuating the roads to ensure unhindered movement between Noida and Delhi. The Supreme Court says that there should be free flow of traffic on the roads.

Let us tell you that farmers of Haryana, Punjab and western Uttar Pradesh have been protesting in Delhi for the past several months against all three agricultural laws. Several rounds of talks have been held between the farmers’ organization and the government, but the solution has not been found so far. The farmers are adamant on their demand to withdraw all the three laws. Farmers are agitating on the road along the borders with Delhi.
Due to farmer agitation, many roads leading to Delhi are closed. The daily impact of this is on the office goers, businessmen and other travelers. They have to resort to alternative routes.
