Ahmadabad News: Gondal Circle PI KN Ramanuj sacked

1.28 crore theft case was alleged of serious negligence

Rajkot. Gondal Circle Police Inspector KN Ramanuj has ordered the dismissal of the state’s Director General of Police, Ashish Bhatia, on charges of serious negligence in the case of 640 rupees worth Rs 1.28 crore from the warehouse of Jasdan in the district. This strict action of the police administration has stirred the department.




According to information, 640 cotton rupees worth Rs 1.28 crore were stolen from the warehouse of Shambhubhai Jerambhai Vaghasia in Jasdan. The victim lodged a complaint in Jasdan police station on 25 November 2017. The investigation of the case was handed over to PIKN Ramanuja. Investigation revealed that Hadmatlawala Shengsing Bhatti and Dungarsing Bhatti had sent trucks from their Jasdan godown through their contractors to fill the bundle of cotton. The investigation did not try to find out whom they had sent to the laborers at the behest of them. The owner of the warehouse, Gokalbhai, has been involved in this crime in some way or not, it has not been investigated.

In the police action, 71 bounties of 14.20 lakh rupees were made, two vehicles were also seized. But it is not mentioned anywhere in the case diary. Apart from this, the PI was ordered to be sacked while acting on the PI after he found several serious negligence in the investigation.
