Singapore Airlines gets FDI approval from the government

Earlier, Singapore Airlines had informed that it has got FDI approval from the Indian government. Singapore Airlines will invest $250 million in Air India Group. After the merger is completed, the company will invest up to $675 million. With this merger, Air India will join the world’s leading airlines and SIA’s stake in it will be 25.1 percent. With this, the company has moved one step further towards the merger of Vistara, formed from the joint venture of Tata Group and Singapore Airlines, with Air India.
