In view of the security threats, the issuance of visitor entry tickets at Delhi Airport has been stopped till 30th November.

According to sources, the entry of visitors into the terminal building of Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA), except for temporary airport entry passes, has been banned till November 30. The Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS) has issued a circular in this regard on Monday.

Increased checking at airports

Sources said that ‘secondary ladder point check’ will be done for Air India flights at IGIA and airports in Punjab. This generally refers to the screening of passengers and their hand luggage before boarding an aircraft. This is in addition to the primary security check. However, no comment has come from Air India.

The ban will continue till 30 November

Sources said that along with temporary entry passes at Delhi airport, relaxation will be given to government officials for operational purposes. This ban will continue till 30 November. According to the report, a separatist group has asked people not to travel in Air India planes on November 19.

Tel Aviv flights are canceled till 30th November

Amidst the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas, Air India has canceled its flights to Tel Aviv till 30 November. In view of the ongoing war situation between these countries, Air India has canceled its flights from October 7. Air India usually operates 5 weekly flights from Delhi to Tel Aviv.
