Airline Service Charge Hike: Indian airline Air India Express has doubled the charges for services provided for unaccompanied minors. An Air India Express call center agent has confirmed that this fee has been doubled by the airline.
Let us tell you that earlier the Minor Service Charge used to be around Dh221 i.e. Rs 5 thousand but now it has increased to around Dh442 i.e Rs 10,000.

Meanwhile, reactions of passengers on this matter also came to light in which a 10-year-old boy told that he is traveling without his parents for the second time. Earlier, unaccompanied minors had to pay Rs 5,000, which has now become Rs 10,000. Apart from this, the discount in fare available for children between 5 years to 12 years has also been stopped.
