Airlines Ticket Price: Fare of domestic airlines increased by 30 per cent, now how much will the ticket cost

Domestic aircrafts in the country have been increased by 30 per cent. The government has also increased the price band of air fares fixed for different routes. At the same time, the maximum 80% capacity limit has been extended till 31 March 2021 as against pre-covid level on airline companies.

As per the government order, now you have to loose the pockets more when traveling in domestic planes. The minimum fares of the airlines have been increased by 10 per cent and the maximum fares by 30 per cent. According to the new price band, one-way fares in economy class on the Delhi-Mumbai route will now be in the range of Rs 3,900-13,000. Earlier it was in the range of 3,500–10,000 rupees. However, this does not include the airport user development fee, passenger safety fee (Rs 150 on domestic route) and GST.

Let us know that in May 2020, the Ministry of Aviation divided domestic aircraft into seven categories. Under this, fares were fixed on the basis of travel duration of 40 minutes, 40-60 minutes, 60-90 minutes, 90-120 minutes, 120-150 minutes, 150-180 minutes, 180-210 minutes.

40 minutes Flight duration: 

The old ticket price ranged from 2000 to 6000 rupees. But now this price has increased from 2200 to 7800 rupees. The list includes flights from Delhi to Chandigarh, Goa to Mumbai, Mangalore to Bangalore and Srinagar to Jammu.




40-60 minutes Flight duration:  

The old ticket price was up to Rs 2500-7500. But now this price has increased from 2800 to 9800 rupees. This list includes flights from Ahmedabad to Bhopal, Leh to Delhi, Hyderabad to Mumbai and Delhi to Srinagar.

60- 90 minutes Flight duration: 

The old ticket price ranged from 3000 to 9000 rupees. But now this price has increased from 3300 to 11700 rupees. This list includes flights from Bangalore to Mumbai, Kolkata to Lucknow, Patna to Delhi and Chennai to Kolkata.

90-120 minutes Flight duration:  

The old ticket price ranged from 3500 to 10 thousand rupees. But now this price has increased from 3900 to 13 thousand rupees. The list includes flights from Delhi to Mumbai, Chennai to Mumbai, Port Blair to Chennai and Jaipur to Varanasi.

120-150 minutes duration of flight:  

The old ticket price ranged from 4500 to 13 thousand rupees. But now this price has increased from 5000 thousand to 16,900 rupees. The list includes flights from Delhi to Bangalore, Guwahati to Delhi, Jaipur to Bangalore and Goa to Delhi.

150-180 minutes Flight duration:  

The old ticket price was 5500 to 15700 rupees. But now this price has increased from 6100 to 20,400 rupees. This list includes flights from Delhi to Kochi, Mumbai to Guwahati, Mumbai to Srinagar, Chennai to Guwahati.

180-210 minutes Flight duration: 

The old ticket price ranged   from 6500 to 18600 rupees. But now this price has increased from 7200 to 24,200 rupees. This list includes flights from Coimbatore to Delhi, Delhi to Thiruvananthapuram, Delhi to Port Blair.
