Airport New Rules: Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has expanded the check-in facility for passengers going to Delhi Airport. Earlier, check-in facility was provided for domestic passengers on the Airport Express Line, but now it will be available for international passengers as well.
Check-in facility will be provided for these passengers at New Delhi and Shivaji Stadium metro stations on the Airport Express Line. DMRC gave information about this on Wednesday. Check-in counters at metro stations became operational in the first week of June.
These two airlines are providing this facility
Earlier, ‘check-in and baggage-drop’ service was being provided only for domestic passengers. Now this facility will be given to international passengers of Air India and Vistara Airlines.
DMRC has also invited other airlines to provide this facility to their passengers.
The aim is to make check-in facility easier
According to DMRC, the aim of this initiative is to enhance passenger convenience and streamline travel processes for international flights departing from IGI Airport Delhi. In collaboration with Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL), Air India and Vistara Airlines, DMRC is expanding this service to facilitate check-in for international passengers at these major metro stations of Delhi.
