IGI Airport: Fast Track Immigration Trusted Traveler Program has been inaugurated to speed up immigration at IGI Airport. Indian citizens and Overseas Citizens of India can avail this benefit.
IGI Airport: Home Minister Amit Shah has launched the Fast Track Immigration Trusted Traveller Programme to speed up immigration at Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI Airport) in New Delhi. This will make the travel experience of passengers faster, easier and safer.
What is FTI-TTP and how does it work
FTI-TTP is an initiative of the central government. Its purpose is to provide convenience to Indian citizens and Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) cardholders. This system will increase travel convenience and efficiency. To avail this benefit, people have to apply online. They have to submit their biometrics (fingerprints and facial images) along with all the necessary information in the application form. Registration will be completed after verification. Also, a non-refundable processing charge will have to be deposited on this.

Registration can be done for 5 years
The applicant will be registered after mobile OTP and email verification. The application will be rejected if any wrong information is given or any important fact is hidden. Along with this, those applicants will not be registered for FTI-TTP, whose biometrics cannot be taken for any reason. This registration will be valid for 5 years or passport validity, whichever is earlier. You will be sent a message to schedule an appointment to give biometrics. This work can be done at any airport or nearest FRRO office. Biometrics are mandatory to complete the application process. While availing this facility, your passport should be valid for at least six months. Also, you will have to tell your address.
Indian citizen will have to pay Rs 2000 and OCI will have to pay $ 100
To avail the benefit of FTI-TTP, Indian citizen will have to pay Rs 2000, minor Indian citizen will have to pay Rs 1000 and OCI cardholder will have to pay $ 100. Also, a passport size photo and the first and last page of the passport will have to be uploaded.
