What things cannot be carried?
Passengers have to keep in mind that some items and medicines can no longer be kept in cabin bags or check-in baggage.
1. Narcotics and drugs
Cocaine, heroin and opium
Poppy seeds and anti-dizzy drugs
2. Prohibited food and wildlife products
Betel nut and certain types of herbs
Ivory and rhino horn items
Three-layer fishing nets

3. Prohibited literature and artefacts
Printed writings, oil paintings, photographs and books
Stone sculptures
4. Other prohibited items

If a passenger is found carrying these prohibited items, legal action can be taken against him.
Some things can be carried by paying money
There are some products during a trip to Dubai, for which you will have to take permission in advance or pay a fee. These include:
Plants, fertilizers and medicines
Medical equipment and books
Cosmetic products and personal care products
Transmission and wireless devices
Alcoholic drinks, e-cigarettes and electronic hookahs
