Jaipur Airport UDF Fees Hike: AIRA has more than doubled the User Development Fee (UDF) at Jaipur Airport. Know what will be the new rates.

Jaipur Airport UDF Fees Hike: The Airports Economic Regulatory Authority of India (AERA) has more than doubled the User Development Fee (UDF) at Jaipur Airport. With this, this fee has been increased to Rs 805 per passenger for flying from Jaipur, while visitors will have to pay a fee of Rs 345. The fee has been increased on the basis of development proposals of Rs 6,000 crore of Jaipur International Airport Limited (JIAL).

Fee will be Rs 805 on domestic departure

Let us tell you that at present UDF on domestic departure is Rs 394 per passenger, which will become Rs 805 from August 1. Till now there was no UDF on domestic arrival, but now a fee of Rs 345 per passenger will be charged on domestic arrival. AERA decided to increase this fee keeping in mind the infrastructure development work to be done by JIAL in the next few years to increase the convenience and safety of passengers.

UDF will be Rs 980 for international departure

The UDF for international departures has been reduced from the existing Rs 1,237 per passenger to Rs 980 per passenger from August 1 to March 31, 2025. Like domestic arrivals, UDF has also been imposed on international arrivals, which will be Rs 420 per passenger for the current financial year. According to a JIAL official, the fee is revised every five years at all airports in the country, but in the case of Jaipur, the two-year delay was due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The official told PTI-Bhasha here that the revision is based on development plans, which involve huge costs. JIAL is a subsidiary of Adani Airport Holdings Limited. It was handed over the operation of Jaipur airport for 50 years by the Airports Authority of India in October 2021.
