Announcing the launch of Airtel 5G Plus in Patna, Bharti Airtel Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Bihar, Jharkhand and Odisha, Anupam Arora said that Airtel customers will now be able to enjoy a mobile phone with speeds up to 20-30 times higher than the existing 4G speeds. The CEO also added, “We are in the process of expanding this across the city which will provide our customers with high-speed access to activities like gaming, multiple chats, instant photo uploads and HD video streaming.” He said that as the company rolls out its network, Airtel 5G Plus services will be available to customers in a phased manner.
Customers with 5G enabled devices can use the 5G Plus network at no additional cost until the service is rolled out more widely.
5G services also live at Patna airport
Airtel services are available at select locations including Patna Sahib Gurudwara, Patna Railway Station, Dak Bungalow, Maurya Lok, Bailey Road, Boring Road, City Center Mall, Patliputra Industrial Area. Airtel is expanding the network to provide its services across the city.
Airtel 5G Plus service is now also available at Patna airport, so Airtel customers flying in and out of here can use these services at the airport terminal. Airtel 5G Plus service is available at Pune, Varanasi and Nagpur airports including the new terminal at Bengaluru airport.
