Airtel Payments Bank’s new ‘Pay to Contact’ feature, now send money easily without UPI ID

Airtel Payments Bank: With this service, now users will be able to transfer money to any number from the contact list present in the mobile phone. For this, now no one will need UPI ID and bank account number.




New Delhi: Airtel Payments Bank has started a new service. Now Airtel has started Pay-to-Contact service for UPI payments and with its service now users will be able to transfer money to any number from the contact list present in the mobile phone. For this, now no one will need UPI ID and bank account number.

According to the report released by the company, customers will get many benefits from Pay to Contact service. Customers can transfer money without entering bank details or UPI ID and this will save the time of customers as well as customers will be able to send money very easily by going to BHIM UPI section and clicking on Pay Money – To Contacts.

How to use Airtel’s Pay to Contact service

  • To open an account in Airtel Payments Bank, you have to visit the official website of the company.
  • Here you enter your mobile number.
  • To fill the information, select any one of Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, Driving License or PAN Card.
  • Register one of these ID cards.
  • After this OTP will come on your number.
  • After registering OTP, you will be able to send money to your contacts by opening Airtel Account.

This year i.e. early 2021, Airtel launched the Safe Pay feature for its customers. This feature of Airtel is considered quite safe in terms of digital payment. In this, customers get extra layer security. The company believes that with this, incidents like banking fraud, phishing and password theft will be avoided.

How to activate Airtel Safe Pay feature

To activate the Airtel Safe Pay feature, first go to the Airtel Thanks App and login.
Here after clicking on the Banking section at the bottom, click on Safe Pay.
After clicking on the toggle button, it will be enabled, after which Airtel Safe Pay will be activated.
