AISSEE 2024: National Testing Agency (NTA) has started the registration process for All India Sainik School Entrance Examination by releasing the official notification. Interested and eligible candidates can submit their form to apply for AISSEE 2024 on the website exams.nta.ac.in/AISSEE/.
Let us tell you that the last date of application for AISSEE 2024 is December 16, 5 pm. Therefore, interested and eligible candidates are advised to submit their application forms before the last date.
What is AISSEE 2024?
AISSEE is an examination conducted for admission to Class 6 and Class 9 in 33 Sainik Schools across the country. Sainik Schools are English medium residential schools affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). They prepare cadets for the National Defense Academy, Indian Naval Academy and other training academies.
The Ministry of Defense (MoD) has approved 19 new Sainik Schools. Admission to Class 6 of the new Sainik Schools for the academic year 2024-25 will be done through AISSEE 2024.
AISSEE 2024: Important information on Sainik School Entrance Exam
- Exam Date: Sunday, January 21, 2024
- Mode of Examination: OMR/Pen and Paper
- Paper Pattern: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ)
- Exam Cities: 186 cities across the country (mentioned in the Information Bulletin).
AISSEE 2024: Eligibility for Class 6 admission
Candidate age should be between 10-12 years as on March 31, 2024. Admission for girls is open for Class 6, subject to availability of seats and the age criteria is the same as for boys.
AISSEE 2024: Eligibility for Class 9 admission
Age should be between 13-15 years as on 31st March 2024, must have passed class 8 from a recognized school at the time of admission. Girls’ admission is open and subject to availability of seats. The age limit is the same as for boys.
AISSEE 2024: Application Fee
- ₹650 for wards of General, Defense Personnel and Ex-Servicemen, OBC (NCL)
- ₹500 for SC, ST
