No government agencies, banks and other financial institutions solicit financial information from anyone through a message (SMS). But if any information related to the account is sought from any person through any message, then you can inform the bank or e-wallet firm.
Apart from this, a complaint can also be made to the police or cybercrime cell. Customers should also keep in mind that do not download any unverified app nor reply to the message on your phone and do not click on any unauthorized link.
