Allu Arjun’s film Pushpa Part 1- The Rise, which surprised with its success in theatres, is now all set to hit the OTT platform. This Telugu film was a huge hit at the box office and in 18 days of release, the film has made more than 300 crore gross collection worldwide. Pushpa got a lot of love among the Hindi audience as well and the Hindi version has collected around 70 crores.
Pushpa is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video on January 7. For those viewers who could not watch the film in theatres, now there is a good chance to watch it on the OTT platform. At the same time, in view of the serious situation of Kovid-19 and Omicron in the country, this is the right time to release Pushpa on OTT, because to control the epidemic, the governments have imposed night curfew, weekend curfew and cinema halls. I have started taking steps like reducing the seating capacity, which is expected to become more stringent in the times to come.
Sukumar directed Pushpa The Rise – Part 1 is produced by Maitree Movie and Muttashetti Media. Pushpa is an action film originally made in Telugu. The film stars Rashmika Mandanna in the female lead, who is seen in the film with Allu Arjun for the first time. At the same time, Fahad Faasil, a well-known actor of Malayalam and Tamil films, debuted in Telugu cinema with Pushpa. The story of the film is based on the smuggling of sandalwood in the forests of Andhra Pradesh and the war of some people against it.
He’ll fight. He’ll run. He’ll jump. But he won’t succumb! 💥

Hindi audience will have to wait
Apart from Telugu, Pushpa is being streamed in Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada only on Prime. Hindi audience will have to wait or watch the film with subtiles. This has probably been done because the film is doing well in the cinema halls of the Hindi belt and is heading towards a bigger collection. Pushpa is coming to OTT just three weeks after its theatrical release. The film, which released in theaters on December 17, will complete 3 weeks in theaters on Thursday, January 6.
