At the same time, its earnings in cinemas in Hindi-speaking areas have been shocking. Trade experts had speculated that the film was doing well in Hindi regions, hence the delay in streaming its Hindi version.
Hindi version will come on Makar Sankranti
Pushpa – The Rise in Hindi language will be streamed on Prime Video on January 14 on the occasion of Makar Sankranti. The film has been streamed on January 7 in Telugu and other South Indian languages and is getting a very good response. This is Allu’s first film to release in Hindi as well as Telugu.
80 crores earned at the box office
Pushpa has collected more than 80 crores net at the Hindi box office. The story of Pushpa is based on Pushpa Raj, a lorry driver and woodcutter, who indulges in sandalwood smuggling and becomes the chief of the syndicate with her guts and cunning mind. Rashmika Mandanna is the female lead in the film, while Fahad Faasil plays the role of a police officer.
