Amazon (Amazon) said that more than half of the viewers of Mirzapur season two watched the show in full within 48 hours of its release. Disney + Hotstar viewership grew by 50 percent during the IPL 2020. Amazon Prime Music streaming on Fire TV devices grew more than 35 percent.
The report said that people spent more time at home. This led to Fire TV’s active subscribers spending more than two times in the year 2020. During the year, users spent more than three hours on Fire TV on average.
Amazon said that the sales of Fire TV in metro cities are increasing. Delhi-NCR has been at the top in this and followed by Hyderabad, Pune, Chennai, Kolkata and Ahmedabad.
Amazon has not disclosed the sales numbers in India, but said that the monthly active users of Fire TV across the world have crossed the 5 crore mark worldwide.
