Delhi will start six programs for the new academic session and will start the registration process for the undergraduate program from July 12, officials said on Monday.
The registration process for postgraduate programs will start at the end of July. Admission to undergraduate programs will be merit based and the university will release the cut-off.

Releasing the admission brochure, Professor Anu Singh Lather, Vice Chancellor, Delhi (AUD) announced that in the academic session 2021-22, the university will introduce six new programmes.
The new programs are BA Hindi (Hons), Masters of Public Health, M Voc Tourism and Hospitality Management, MA in Archeology and Heritage Management (MAHM), MA in Conservation, Preservation and Heritage Management (MCPHM), Integrated MA-PhD (IPHD) . ) in human ecology.
He said that amid the public outcry amid the COVID pandemic and the struggle to maintain the public health system, the university is launching a new program in the Masters in Public Health.
Integrated MA-PhD in Human Ecology (IPHD) is being launched as per the new policy.
Lather said that they will launch a four-year BA (Hons) Political Science program this year and shared that as per the new policy, consultations are being held for other such programs as well.
Delhi Institute of Heritage and Management, which was earlier a part of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, has been declared as School of Delhi by the city government. Two programs of the School of Heritage Research and Management, MA in Archeology and Heritage Management (MAHM) and MA in Conservation, Conservation and Heritage Management (MCPHM) will be offered from Ambedkar University Delhi.
Lather said that the university has for the first time shortlisted 64 foreign students from around 1,800 applications for admission to BA/MA/PhD programs through the ICCR process.
Students from SAARC and African countries (Tanzania, Ghana, Malawi, South Sudan, Botswana, Somalia, Ethiopia, Zimbabwe; Zambia) have been shortlisted.
The total number of undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG) programs and Ph.D. programs offered this year is 57. The number of PhD programs will be updated soon. The total seats on offer in undergraduate and postgraduate programs will be 1,953, which includes seats in the new programs – 44 in UG and 143 in PG.
The entrance exam for postgraduate programs is likely to be held in August if the COVID-19 situation normalises and exam centers are available and as per the guidelines of the Delhi government, officials said. is not. University can opt for online proctored examination.
Officials said that Delhi University students form a major part of applicants for postgraduate programmes. He said that DU has not yet declared its postgraduate results.
Officials said the university has given a fee waiver of Rs 4.73 crore while Rs 1.43 crore has been spent on other assistance.
