Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan’s police bodyguard Jitendra Narayan Shinde is once again in the headlines. Mumbai Police has suspended Amitabh’s ex bodyguard and head constable Jitendra Narayan Shinde. Jitendra was working with Amitabh in his bodyguard’s room from 2015 to August 2021.
Why was Amitabh’s ex bodyguard suspended?
Jitendra Narayan Shinde was transferred to DB Marg police station last year after commissioner Hemant Nagrale complained of violation of service rules. A departmental inquiry was also started against Shinde at that time, which was carried out by the ACP of Pydhonie Division.
According to information received from sources, a report was given to the Additional Commissioner of South Zone, Dilip Sawant, after which the decision was taken to suspend Shinde.
