Railways has issued a circular to all zones regarding the fare of this train, in which information regarding the fare of this train has been given.
What will be the minimum fare in Amrit Bharat Express?
According to the information given in the report of news agency PTI, to travel from one kilometer to 50 kilometers in Amrit Bharat Express trains, you will have to pay Rs 35. Reservation fees and other charges are not included in this. Please note, this fare is for second class and sleeper class. Currently, work is being done by the Railways regarding the fare of AC class.
How much more expensive is Amrit Bharat Express than ordinary trains?
In the report, quoting the Railways, it was said that if the second and sleeper class fares of Amrit Bharat Express are compared with the fares of second and sleeper class of other trains, then it is costlier by 15 to 17 percent. At present, the second class fare in mail and express trains for a distance of one kilometer to 50 kilometers is around Rs 30. Reservation fees and other charges are not included in this.
As per the circular, concessional tickets and free complimentary pass tickets which are not reimbursed will not be admissible in these trains. At the same time, the eligibility of privilege pass, PTO, duty pass etc. for railway employees will be equal to that of mail/express.
