The Railway Board has planned to give a big gift to North Bihar during the festive season. It is going to give the gift of five Amrit Bharat Express trains for Muzaffarpur, Darbhanga, Samastipur and Barauni. Increasing passenger convenience, the Railway Board has approved running 26 new Amrit Bharat trains.

Amrit Bharat Express trains: Railway Board has planned to give a big gift to North Bihar during the festive season. It is going to give the gift of five Amrit Bharat Express trains for Muzaffarpur, Darbhanga, Samastipur and Barauni. Increasing passenger convenience, the Railway Board has approved running 26 new Amrit Bharat trains.

Out of these, Muzaffarpur, Samastipur and Barauni have got one new train each and Darbhanga has got two new trains. The board has asked the concerned railway zones to provide the time of operation for the regular operation of these trains. After the operation of these trains starts, there will be a big increase in the facilities being provided to the passengers of Bihar by the railways.

According to the information given by the board, Amrit Bharat train will run between Muzaffarpur to Pune, Darbhanga to New Delhi, Darbhanga to New Delhi/Hisar, Samastipur to Lokmanya Terminal and Barauni to Udhna (Surat). Railway zones and divisions have started preparations at the local level. At present the route is not decided. It is expected that both Amrit Bharat trains running between Darbhanga-New Delhi will also run via Muzaffarpur, Gorakhpur.
