Amrit Bharat Train Features: Amrit Bharat Train was started by the government keeping in mind the economically weaker section. Recently, on December 30, PM Modi had flagged off two Amrits to India. Since then, passengers are liking this train a lot.
Amrit Bharat Trains: Keeping in mind the convenience of the passengers, two Amrit Bharat Express trains were started by the Indian Railways recently. The first of these trains was run between Darbhanga-Ayodhya-Anand Vihar Terminal. The second train ran between Malda Town-Sir M Visvesvaraya Terminus (Bengaluru). After the successful launch of both these trains, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that 50 Amrit Bharat Express has been approved by the Central Government.
Two new trains started on 30 December
Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav shared information related to the approval of 50 new Amrit Bharat trains on social media platform X. This decision has been taken after the overwhelming response to the Amrit Bharat trains launched by Prime Minister Modi on December 30. Amrit Bharat train has been constructed by the government under ‘Make in India’. This is a modern train of Indian Railways. This train was started recently keeping in mind the convenience of the common man.

Features of Amrit Bharat Train
This non-AC train has second class unreserved and sleeper coaches. With 6,000 hp WAP5 locomotives at either end, the train is capable of running at a speed of 130 kmph. Two engines have been installed in this train because it is a high speed train with Link Hoffman Busch (LHB) push-pull design. The engine installed at the front of the train pulls the train forward. The rear engine helps in moving the train forward. While explaining the benefits of push-pull setup, Ashwini Vaishnav had said that it is convenient to have two engines on pull and turn.
Amrit Bharat’s shock free journey
Amrit Bharat train is based on semi-coupler technology. This technology is helpful in reducing the impact of shocks felt during the starting and stopping of the train. Amrit Bharat Express has been equipped with various facilities for the convenience of passengers.
