A man set fire to OLA’s showroom in Kalaburagi, Karnataka. This man named Mohammad Nadeem did this because he was not getting proper customer service for his new electric scooter. Actually, the man had bought an e-scooter worth Rs 1.4 lakh a month ago. But after a day or two, problems started coming in it. He went to the showroom several times, but when nothing concrete happened, he got angry and set the showroom on fire. Videos of this incident are going viral on social media.
The showroom people were not responding properly
On Wednesday, September 11, @TOIBengaluru posted two videos on microblogging site X. He wrote in the caption – Angry Ola customer sets fire to electric scooter showroom located in Kalaburagi, North Karnataka. According to the report, the incident took place on September 10. Mohammad Nadeem was upset with his new bike. The bike was malfunctioning repeatedly. Even after complaining to the showroom people several times, no help was received. Nadeem told the police, “The showroom people were not responding properly.”

Bought an e-scooter a month ago
According to media reports, 26-year-old Nadeem had an altercation with customer service officials at the showroom on Tuesday, September 10 and set the showroom on fire by pouring petrol. Six vehicles and computer systems were burnt to ashes in this fire. Nadeem is a mechanic by profession and he bought an e-scooter for Rs 1.4 lakh a month ago. Just 1-2 days after buying, the vehicle started having technical problems related to the battery and sound system. He went to the showroom several times to get his vehicle repaired but according to him no solution was being found to his problem.
The entire showroom was burnt to ashes due to the fire. Clouds of smoke were seen rising from the shop. The incident has caused a loss of about Rs 8.5 lakh. The police have registered a case and arrested the accused.
