Prayagraj, J.N.N. Semester and annual examinations for the academic session 2020-21 of constituent colleges including Allahabad Central University (IVIV) will be in online mode only. The special thing is that the examinees will have to solve only four questions under the supervision of the web cam sitting at home. This important decision was taken in the examination committee meeting chaired by Vice Chancellor Professor Sangeeta Shrivastava on Friday.

Prof. Ramendra Kumar Singh, Controller of Examination, said that from March 15, the semester of the Masters, the annual examinations of graduates will be conducted from April 15. PG examinations will be completed in 10 days while UG examinations will be completed in about 45 days. After turning on the laptop webcam, the examinees will have to solve all four questions in just 12 pages. However, it has also been clarified that even if there is no web camera, they will be able to take the exam.

Three pages are set for a question. The answer to the new question has to be written in the new page itself. The time duration of the written examination has been fixed at two hours. The candidates will be given a separate time of 30 minutes, so that they will be able to upload and convert their answerbook to PDF. Maximum marks will be decided by the department. Have students save screenshots before uploading the answerbook. The detailed schedule of the exam will be on the website soon. Public Relations Officer Dr. Jaya Kapoor told that the evaluation work of the answerbook will also be done online.
Experimental exams also online
The Controller of Examinations said that practical exams will also be conducted in online mode. For this, the students will give assignments on behalf of the departments. Then they will be subjected to an experimental examination through VAWA. Also, oral examination will be conducted through Zoom or Google Meet.
