Now OnePlus has now confirmed that the OnePlus Nord 2T 5G is launching in India on May 19. OnePlus has given information about the official launch event on its YouTube channel, according to which the phone will be launched on May 19 and 7:30 pm.
The Indian variant of OnePlus Nord 2T was recently spotted on Geekbench with Mediatek Dimensity 1300 SoC and 8GB of RAM. It will also be the first device in India to feature the Dimensity 1300 chipset.
Specifications of OnePlus Nord 2T
OnePlus Nord 2T flaunts a 6.43-inch display with full HD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. The AMOLED display has a punch-hole cutout at the top left corner of the screen for the front camera. The device packs a 4,500mAh battery unit and supports 80W fast charging. It runs Android 12 out of the box and has a layer of Oxygen OS 12.1 on top of it.
There is a triple camera setup at the back. The phone packs a 50MP Sony IMX766 main camera sensor at the back and supports OIS. Together, you get an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP monochrome sensor. The phone has a 32MP front camera sensor for selfies and video calls.
Expected price of OnePlus Nord 2T in India
The OnePlus Nord 2T was listed on AliExpress for a price of EUR 399 (roughly Rs. 32,100) for the 8GB + 128GB variant. Hence, we can expect the Indian price to be lower than the Europe price. The device could launch in India between Rs 25,000 and Rs 30,000.
