According to the news shared by the tech investor on X, Reliance Industries reduced the total number of its employees by 42 thousand in the financial year 2023-24. Most reduction in retail segment
Reliance Industries had given information about reducing the workforce in its annual report released recently. According to the annual report, the number of employees of Reliance Industries decreased by 11 percent in the financial year 2023-24. The biggest reduction in employees came in the retail segment. At the end of the last financial year, the total number of employees in the retail sector of Reliance Industries came down to 2,07,552, which is equal to about 60 percent of its total employees. Employees reduced by five and a half percent in Jio
