Apple has also sent a message to the phone stolen from the Philadelphia Apple Store, instructing the thieves to return the phone. This is not the first time that Apple stores have been looted for iPhone 15. In 2020, Apple stores were looted across the United States following the release of the iPhone 12.
It is unclear what drove the looting of Apple stores in Philadelphia, however, it is possible that some looters were motivated by the high price of the iPhone 15.
