The Modi government has introduced many welfare schemes for the workers of the unorganized sector. One of these is Atal Pension Yojana. The Atal Pension Yojana launched by the Modi government is very much liked by the people. According to PFRDA, the number of subscribers of Atal Pension Yojana (APY) has crossed the 3.30 crore mark till 25 August. Under this scheme, pension of Rs 1,000, 2,000, 3,000, 4,000 and 5,000 is available after the age of 60. Any citizen of 18 to 40 years who has a savings account in a bank or post office can join this scheme.
More than 28 lakh new APY accounts have been opened in the current financial year. This scheme was started by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 9 May 2015. According to PFRDA, around 78 per cent of the subscribers have opted for a pension plan of Rs 1,000. At the same time, about 14 percent have opted for a pension scheme of Rs 5,000. The sooner you join, the more benefit you will get
To take maximum advantage of Atal Pension Yojana, you have to join it early i.e. at a young age. If you join this scheme at the age of 18, then you can get a pension of Rs 5,000 every month by depositing only 7 rupees every day in this scheme. For this, you have to deposit Rs 210 per month.
At the same time, for a monthly pension of Rs 1000 every month, only Rs 42 will have to be deposited per month. While Rs 84 for Rs 2,000 pension, Rs 126 for Rs 3,000 and Rs 168 for monthly pension of Rs 4,000 will have to be deposited every month.

>> After this you fill all the information about the nominee and premium payment.
>> Now e-sign the form for verification. With this, your registration for Atal Pension Yojana will be completed.
Account can continue on the death of the contributor
If the APY subscriber dies before the age of 60 years, then the spouse has the right to continue this account. If a subscriber wants to exit from this scheme before 60 years, then he can voluntarily exit from this scheme. In this case, he will get the total contribution along with the interest.
