ATF Price Hike On the 1st of every month, oil marketing companies update ATF prices along with LPG cylinder prices. The month of May has started from today. On the first day of the month itself, oil companies have increased the prices of ATF by 0.7 percent. However, the prices of commercial cylinders have been reduced by Rs 19.
New Delhi. Jet fuel prices (ATF Price) are updated along with LPG Cylinder prices on the 1st of every month. Oil marketing companies release their new rates.
Today oil companies increased the price of ATF marginally by 0.7 percent. After this increase, it is being estimated that air travel may become expensive. However, oil companies cut the rates of commercial LPG cylinders used in places like hotels and restaurants by Rs 19 per cylinder in line with international prices.
Aviation turbine fuel (ATF) price in the national capital rose by Rs 749.25 per kilolitre, or 0.7 per cent, to Rs 101,642.88 per kilolitre, according to a price notification from state-owned fuel retailers. On Wednesday, rates in Mumbai rose from Rs 94,466.41 to Rs 95,173.70 per kilolitre.
Prices vary from state to state depending on the impact of local taxes. On April 1, 2024, oil companies had reduced ATF prices by a nominal 0.5 percent.
Reduction in commercial cylinder prices
Oil companies have reduced the price of commercial LPG by Rs 19 to Rs 1,745.50 for a 19 kg cylinder. Commercial cylinder prices have been reduced for the second consecutive month. On April 1, commercial cylinder prices were reduced by Rs 30.5 per 19 kg cylinder.
However, rates of domestic cooking gas remained unchanged at Rs 803 per 14.2 kg cylinder. On April 1, the first cut in commercial LPG prices since January was made. Rates had increased by Rs 14 per cylinder on February 1 and by Rs 25.5 on March 1.
This company changes the rates
State-owned Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) change the rates of LPG, ATF, petrol-diesel. This change is made based on the average price of benchmark international fuel and foreign exchange. The prices of ATF and LPG are revised on the first of every month.
Petrol-Diesel Price
The prices of petrol and diesel remain stable. On March 14, their rates were reduced by Rs 2 per litre. The price of petrol in Delhi is Rs 94.72 per liter while the price of diesel is Rs 87.62.
