Withdraw cash using UPI from ATM: Sometimes we go out for shopping in the market but forget to keep debit or credit card with us. Sometimes in a hurry we forget the card at home. In such a situation, the big problem is how to withdraw the money. If you take advantage of the UPI service, you can do cardless transactions and purchases. Unified Payments Interface (UPI) has already made many of our tasks easier. Apart from this, National Payments Corporation of India (NPIC) implements UPI and allows people to withdraw money from ATMs through UPI. Let us tell you that the Interoperable Cardless Cash Withdrawal facility allows people to withdraw money from ATMs, even if they do not have cards.

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has asked banks to provide ICCW option for ATMs to prevent card frauds such as cloning, skimming and device tampering. Cardless cash withdrawal option is available at ATMs operated by State Bank of India (SBI), Punjab National Bank (PNB), HDFC Bank and other banks. UPI cash withdrawal can be done through any UPI payment service provider app like GooglePay, PhonePe, Paytm, and other UPI apps.
Follow these steps
1. Visit any ATM machine. There, find and select the ‘Withdraw Cash’ option available on the screen. After that select the UPI option.
2. After this you will see a QR code on the ATM screen. Now open the UPI application on your smartphone and scan the QR code on the screen of the ATM machine.
3. After that enter your UPI PIN and click on ‘Hit Proceed’ button. In this way, you can withdraw cash up to Rs 5,000 at a time. There will be no additional charges for cardless cash withdrawal from ATMs through Bank UPI.
