ATM withdrawal limit refers to the maximum amount of money that an individual can withdraw from his savings or current account in a given period. The maximum limit varies from bank to bank and depends on the type of account.

For example, some banks may allow a maximum withdrawal limit of Rs 25,000 per day on the basic account type. On the other hand, other banks may offer a withdrawal limit of Rs 40,000 per day on their basic account.

Daily ATM withdrawal limit: Daily ATM withdrawal limit refers to the maximum amount of cash you can withdraw from your bank account per day. Most Indian banks have a daily ATM withdrawal limit ranging between Rs 20,000 and Rs 50,000. Also, the maximum daily ATM withdrawal limit depends on your account type and banking specifications.

Here are the maximum ATM withdrawal limits of some of the top banks in India.

SBI ATM

  • If you have a Maestro Debit Card or Classic Debit Card, you can withdraw a maximum of Rs 40,000 per day.
  • If your account is linked to In Touch or SBI Go then the daily withdrawal limit is Rs 40,000.
  • With SBI Platinum International Debit Card, you can withdraw a maximum of Rs 1,00,000 per day.
  • However, these limits may change depending on your SBI account type and the terms of the debit card. The bank may change the limits occasionally, so you should check with SBI regularly to know the current limits.

HDFC ATM

  • If you have International, Woman Advantage or NRO debit cards linked to your HDFC account, you can withdraw a maximum of Rs 25,000 per day.
  • For International Business, Titanium or Gold debit cards linked to your account, the daily withdrawal limit is Rs 50,000.
  • If your account is linked to Titanium Royale debit card, the daily withdrawal limit is Rs 75,000.
  • For Platinum and Imperia Platinum chip debit cards, the daily withdrawal limit is Rs 1,00,000.
  • If you have JetPrivilege HDFC Bank World debit card linked to your account, you can withdraw up to Rs 3,00,000 per day.

Canara Bank

  • If you have a Canara Bank Classic Rupay, Visa or Standard MasterCard debit card, you can withdraw a maximum of Rs 75,000 per day.
  • When a Platinum or MasterCard Business debit card is linked to your Canara Bank account, the bank allows you to withdraw up to Rs 1,00,000 per day from an ATM.

ICICI ATM

  • The withdrawal limit for ICICI Bank Coral Plus debit card users is Rs 1,50,000 per day.
  • If you have an ICICI Expression, Platinum or Titanium debit card linked to your account, the daily withdrawal limit is Rs 1,00,000.
  • The daily withdrawal limit through ATM for ICICI Smart Shopper Silver debit card is Rs 50,000.
  • If you have an ICICI Bank Safiro debit card, you can withdraw a maximum of Rs 2,50,000 per day.

Axis Bank ATM

  • If you have a RuPay Platinum or Power Salute debit card then you can withdraw Rs 40,000 per day.
  • The daily withdrawal limit for Liberty, Online Rewards, Rewards Plus, Secure Plus, Titanium Rewards and Titanium Prime debit cards is Rs 50,000.
  • If you have a Priority, Prestige, Delight or Value Plus debit card then you can withdraw Rs 1,00,000 per day.
  • The daily withdrawal limit for Axis Bank Burgundy debit card is Rs 3,00,000.

Bank Of Baroda

  • If you have a World Agniveer, RuPay QSpark NCMC, RuPay Platinum DI, MasterCard DI Platinum or BPCL debit card, the daily withdrawal limit is Rs 50,000.
  • You are allowed to withdraw Rs 25,000 per day from a RuPay Classic DI or MasterCard Classic DI debit card linked to your account.
  • If you have a RuPay Select DI debit card, you can withdraw Rs 1,50,000 per day from an ATM.

Indian Bank ATM

  • Senior citizens and Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana accounts are allowed a withdrawal limit of Rs 25,000 per day
  • If you have RuPay Platinum, RuPay Debit Select, Mastercard World or Mastercard World Platinum linked to your account, you can withdraw Rs 50,000 per day.
  • For IB Digi-Rupay Classic, Kalaignar Magalir Urimai Thittam (KMUT) Scheme, Rupay Kisan or Mudra debit cards linked to your bank account, the bank allows you to withdraw Rs 10,000 per day.
  • If you have RuPay International Platinum debit card linked to your account, you can withdraw Rs 1,00,000 per day from an ATM.

Union Bank ATM

  • If you have a Classic Visa, Mastercard or RuPay debit card linked to your bank account, you can withdraw Rs 25,000 per day.
  • The daily withdrawal limit for Platinum Visa, Mastercard or RuPay debit cards is Rs 75,000.
  • The daily withdrawal limit for Business Platinum Visa and Mastercard is Rs 1,00,000.
  • If you have a Union Bank RuPay Select debit card, you can withdraw a maximum of Rs 1,00,000 per day from an ATM.
  • The daily withdrawal limit for Union Bank Signature Visa and Mastercard is Rs 1,00,000.

Punjab National Bank ATM

  • If your bank account is linked with RuPay NCMC Classic, Visa Classic or Mastercard Classic debit card, you can withdraw a maximum of Rs 25,000 per day from ATM.
  • RuPay NCMC Platinum Domestic, RuPay NCMC Platinum International, RuPay Woman Power Platinum, RuPay Business Platinum NCMC, Visa Gold and Mastercard Platinum debit cards have a daily withdrawal limit of Rs 1,00,000.
  • The daily ATM withdrawal limit for RuPay Select, Visa Signature and Mastercard Business debit cards is Rs 1,50,000.

Bank Of India ATM

  • MasterCard Titanium, RuPay Sangini, RuPay PMJDY, RuPay Mudra, RuPay Kisan, RuPay Punjab Arthvyashtha, Visa Classic, NCMC, Master Bingo or Visa Bingo debit cards allow you to withdraw a maximum of Rs 15,000 per day from an ATM.
  • The daily withdrawal limit for RuPay Platinum, Visa payWave (Platinum) and MasterCard Platinum debit cards is Rs 50,000.
  • If you have a RuPay Select debit card linked to your account, you can withdraw Rs 50,000 per day from an ATM.
  • Visa Business and Visa Signature debit cards allow you to withdraw up to Rs 1,00,000 per day from an ATM.

Federal Bank ATM

  • FedFirst Contactless Debit Card allows cash withdrawals of up to Rs 2,500 per day.
  • If you have a RuPay Crown Debit Card linked to your account, you can withdraw Rs 25,000 per day.
  • RuPay Platinum Contactless, MasterCard Crown Contactless, Visa Imperio Business Contactless and Visa Crown Contactless Debit Cards allow withdrawals of Rs 50,000 per day.
  • The daily withdrawal limit for MasterCard Imperio Personal Contactless Debit Card is Rs 75,000.
  • Celesta Business Contactless, Visa Celesta Contactless, Visa Imperio Contactless and MasterCard Celesta Contactless Debit Cards allow a maximum withdrawal of Rs 1,00,000 per day.

Kotak ATM

  • Kotak Junior debit card allows ATM withdrawals of Rs 5,000 per day.
  • If you have a RuPay debit card or Classic One debit card linked to your account, the daily withdrawal limit is Rs 10,000.
  • The maximum withdrawal limit per day for 811 Dream Different and Easy Pay debit cards is Rs 25,000.
  • If you have a Silk Platinum, RuPay India or Peshopmore debit card, you can withdraw Rs 40,000 per day.
  • Jiffy Platinum Edge and Pro, Business Class Gold, and Business Power Platinum Edge, Pro and Elite have a daily withdrawal limit of Rs 50,000.
  • The daily ATM withdrawal limit for Access India debit card is Rs 75,000.
  • PVR, Signature Pro, Nation Builders, Gold, Jiffy Platinum Ace, Platinum Edge, Pro and Ace debit cards have a daily withdrawal limit of Rs 1,00,000.
  • If you have a Privy League Platinum, World, Business Power Platinum Ace and Astra debit card, you are eligible to withdraw Rs 1,50,000 per day.
  • The daily withdrawal limit for Privy League Neon, Privy League Platinum (LED) and Privy League Signature debit cards is Rs 2,00,000.
  • The daily withdrawal limit for Privy League Black and Infinite debit cards is Rs 2,50,000.
