When people withdraw cash from ATMs of all major banks including SBI, most of the notes in the fixed amount will be of Rs. 500, but some notes of Rs. 200 and Rs. 100 will also reach them. In view of the shortage of small notes in transactions, RBI has issued guidelines to banks in this regard.
Manoj Kumar Sharma, President of Indian Bank Staff Association, said that by issuing two hundred and hundred rupee notes in ATMs, people will be able to get rid of the problem of transactions at the time of shopping to some extent. In most ATM machines, the system of putting two hundred and hundred rupee notes along with five hundred rupee notes has been implemented compulsorily. Due to this, people were facing a lot of problems.
