New Delhi: Buses on all routes running from Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station will now run from the new bus stop instead of the old bus stop at Nizamuddin Railway Station. DTC management has issued an order in this regard. On the request of Railways, DTC has shifted the bus stand about 200 meters away from the station. Due to which people will get relief from the jam near the entry gate of the station. Its effect started appearing on the very first day. On Tuesday, Railways has also started the work of widening the roads here. We will give you complete information about what changes will happen after the new system.

Buses on these routes will now run from the new bus stop

According to this order, buses of route numbers 19, 166, 181, 181-A, 408, 413, 427, 518, 794, 794-A, 871, 966, 966-Ext., 966-B, 970-B etc. While coming and going, it will run from the new bus stop of Nizamuddin Railway Station instead of the old bus stop in both directions. DTC officials said that a new bus stop in the name of Nizamuddin Railway Station has been built on the road under Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Setu (Barapula Elevated Road) near Jangpura flyover. All these buses will now run from this new bus stop or will terminate there. This change has been implemented from Tuesday. However, there will be no change in the fare stage and other bus stops of buses on all these routes.

It will be easy to reach the railway station

The Delhi Transport Department agreed to the Railways’ request to move the bus stand about 200 meters away from there so that the jam at the railway station is reduced. DRM Sukhwinder Singh said no bus entered the circulating area on Tuesday and the Railways has also started road widening work to widen the narrow stretch. He further said that this will ease the movement of passenger trains to the railway station.
