There are three types of ‘Skills in Demand’ visas. First, Core Skills Stream. In this, those people will get a chance whose skills are more needed in Australia. Second, Specialist Skills Stream, this is for those people who have special skills and have a well-paid job. For this, the salary should be at least 1,35,000 Australian dollars. Third, Labor Agreement Stream, this stream is being changed to Essential Skills Stream.

‘Skills in Demand’ visa can get permanent residency quickly. Compared to the old visa, the new visa requires less working experience. Just one year of experience is enough. According to Australia’s Home Affairs Department, work experience with any approved employer will be counted for permanent residency.
