There were six thousand registered Gramin Seva autos in Delhi

We have received memorandums from their organization, requesting us to issue guidelines to ensure their conversion to electric vehicles. The associations have held meetings with transport department officials and urged them to take steps to revive the services.

According to officials, there were about 6,000 registered Gramin Seva autos. However, many of them have disappeared from the roads with the passage of time. Currently, there are about 2,000 to 3,000 such vehicles running in rural areas.
