Dehradun Ayodhya Flights: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami launched 3 new air services from Jolly Grant Airport on Wednesday. The Chief Minister launched direct air service to Ayodhya, Amritsar and Varanasi, the approval of which has been received from the Centre. Chief Minister Dhami inaugurated this air service by reaching Jolly Grant Airport and also fed sweets to the passengers and staff present there. Dhami expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia for the approval of the three services.
Flight service starts from March 6
Chief Minister Dhami had been trying for a long time to start air service. Before the consecration of Shri Ram temple in Ayodhya, he had personally requested and written a letter to Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia. The Chief Minister had said that at present there is no direct flight service available from Dehradun to Ayodhya. His efforts bore fruit and now direct air service to Ayodhya has started from Wednesday 6th March.
Demand for flights to Ayodhya increased
A large number of devotees from India and abroad are reaching Ayodhya for the darshan of Shri Ram Lalla. With the start of air service from Ayodhya to Devbhoomi, devotees of Uttarakhand will also get this facility. Similarly, pilgrims coming to visit Devbhoomi will also be able to avail the benefit of this service.
The tour will cost only Rs 1999
Director General of Information Banshidhar Tiwari said that the Civil Aviation Department of the government has decided the schedule and fares of the flights starting from Wednesday. The government has given a big discount on the flight fare to Ayodhya from Rs 7006 and has fixed it at Rs 1999 till March 20.
What is the schedule of Ayodhya flight?
Flights will fly to Ayodhya every week on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The flight time for Ayodhya will be from Dehradun at 9:40 am which will reach Ayodhya at 11:30 am. After that, the flight will take off from Ayodhya at 12:15 and will reach Dehradun Jolly Grant Airport at 1:55.
