New Delhi. Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PMJAY) is also known as Ayushman Bharat Yojana. This is the world’s largest health scheme, under which you can get free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh in any government or private hospital in the country.
The central government launched PMJAY on 23 September 2018. To avail the benefits of this scheme, beneficiaries must have Ayushman Bharat card. Here we are giving you information about downloading Ayushman Bharat card online.
How to check eligibility for Ayushman Bharat Card
- First of all you have to open PMJAY website https://pmjay.gov.in/.
- After this you have to click on ‘Am I Eligible’ option.
- After this, on the page that opens, you will have to type your mobile number.
- After this enter the captcha code then click on ‘Generate OTP’ to get OTP.
- type it. After this you have to select your state and district.
- After this find your name, ration card number and mobile number.
- Then based on the search result you will know whether your family is eligible under this scheme or not.

How to download Ayushman Bharat Card
- First of all, you have to install the app named ‘PMAJAY-Ayushman Bharat’ on Google PlayStore in your mobile.
- After this open the application and accept the declaration. Then click on ‘LOGIN’ to continue.
- A login page will open for you. Now select ‘Beneficiary’ and fill the mobile number and state details. Then click on Next.
- You will receive an OTP on your phone. Enter it and click on ‘NEXT’.
- After this a lock code will have to be created and confirmed.
- Finally click on ‘Card Download’ and you will see your Ayushman Bharat Card on the screen.
