Earlier, 30 rupees were being charged for this. Under the Ayushman Yojana, every family is given 5 lakh rupees a year for treatment.

Under this campaign, details will be taken at your home and then the card will be made available. This card will be available as PVC. The special thing is that no money will be taken from you in this. The idea of this campaign is that the people coming under the Ayushman Bharat Scheme can make pucca cards so that they can be treated in the hospital at the time of illness. Those in treatment can get insurance money. Under the Ayushman Yojana, every family is given 5 lakh rupees a year for treatment.
The name of this campaign is Ayushman Aapke Dwar. State governments are taking an active part in this campaign. National Health Mission CEO RS Sharma said that everyone is getting contribution in making this scheme a success. He said that Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh are doing good work. So far, about 28 lakh cards have been made in Chhattisgarh. 1 lakh 12 thousand cards have been made in Madhya Pradesh, 39 thousand in Punjab, 1 lakh 53 thousand in UP, 17 thousand 500 in Bihar, 9 thousand 600 in Haryana and 13 thousand 800 cards have been made in Jammu and Kashmir.
How is the card made now
Till now the beneficiaries of Ayushman Bharat Yojana have to make an e-card, for which they had to go to the Common Service Center. There, 30 rupees were taken from each beneficiary, he used to give details on a paper but now the card will be available for free at home. There are 10 crore families under the Ayushman Bharat Yojana in the country and the number of members is 54 crores. Till now only about 1.25 crore cards have been made, that is, there is a big gap which is the aim of the government.
Free golden card will be made till 30th April
Under the Prime Minister Ayushman Bharat Yojana, the time limit has been extended till April 30 for the special campaign to make free golden cards run by the Health Department. A provision has been made to get medical facility up to five lakh rupees to the Golden Card holder. Apart from this, under the special campaign run by the Health Department, free golden cards can be made at Atal Seva Kendras (CSCs) by 30 April.
