At the same time, now Ayushman cards can also be made for people above 70 years of age. The method of making Ayushman card is as follows:-
Step 1:
- If your age is more than 70 years, then you can get Ayushman card made
- You can apply for it online only
- To get Ayushman card made, first of all you have to go to the official website of the scheme pmjay.gov.in
Step 2
- As soon as you go to the website, you will see many options here
- You have to go to the ‘PMJAY for 70+’ section among these
- After this, you will see the option of ‘Enrol for PMJAY for 70+’ and you have to click on it
Step 3
- Then you have to provide your Aadhaar card details here
- After this you also have to get your Aadhaar card verified
- For Aadhaar verification, an OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number which you have to enter here
Step 4
- Now that Aadhaar has been verified, upload your documents here
- In these, you have to upload Domicile Certificate, Photo, Aadhaar Card and other documents
- Then you have to click on the submit button
- After a while you will see that your application has been accepted and then you can download the Ayushman card, through which you can get free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh every year.
