This Baal Aadhaar card has to be renewed. When the child turns 5 years old, a new Aadhar card will have to be made. To make Aadhaar card of a child, only his birth certificate is sufficient. If you do not even have the birth certificate of the child, then the discharge certificate issued from the hospital or the school ID card is sufficient. Apart from this, there should be any valid ID proof like Aadhar Card, Voter ID Card, Driving License or Passport of either the mother or father.
Aadhaar will have to be renewed after 15 years of age
For child Aadhar card, only the photograph of the child is taken, along with it it is mandatory to provide the Aadhar card of one of the child’s parents. In such a situation, if the parents do not have Aadhaar, then it will have to be made first. Child Aadhaar card will be for the age up to five years, after which a second Aadhaar card will be made for the child. For this, one will have to provide his/her photo, biometric data of fingers and iris scan. After this, when he turns 15, the process of Aadhaar enrollment will be repeated once again.
Baal Aadhaar Card: How to apply for Aadhaar card
Step 1: Visit the official website of UIDAI – uidai.gov.in
Step 2: Now, click on the Aadhar Card registration link.
Step 3: Enter all the credentials including the name of the child, parent’s phone number, e-mail address, etc.
Step 4: Fill all the demographic information such as a residential address, locality, district, state, etc.
Step 5: Proceed further and click on the fixed appointment tab. Schedule the date of registration for the Aadhar card.
