Badhaai Do Box Office: Rajkumar Rao-Bhumi Pednekar’s film collection increased in the second weekend, know- 10 days earnings

New Delhi: The collections of Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar’s Badhaai Do have increased in the second weekend. The film collected 4.29 crores in the second weekend, with which the net collection of 10 days has crossed 16 crores. The second week is very important for Badhaai Do, as two popular films Valimai and Gangubai Kathiawadi will release this week, after which Badhaai Do will face a tough challenge.

The film entered the second week on Friday (February 18) with a collection of Rs 75 lakh. Badhaai Do’s collections got better on Saturday and Sunday. The film collected 1.54 crores on Saturday and 2 crores on Sunday, after which the net collection of ten days has gone up to 16.89 crores.

Badhaai Do hit the theaters on February 11. The film collected 12.60 crores in the first week. Badhaai Do took an opening of 1.65 crores on the first Friday, while the film collected 7.82 crores in the opening weekend. After this, 1.85 crores was collected on the first Monday, 1.12 crores on Tuesday, one crore on Wednesday and 81 lakhs on Thursday.

Badhaai Do was the first film after 83 to release in theaters on 24 December. All the films releasing in January were postponed due to restrictions imposed in anticipation of the third wave of Corona. After the easing of restrictions, the release of films started again and Badhaai reached two theatres. However, the pace of the film remained slow.

Challenge of two films in the third week

In the third week, Badhaai Do will face two big challenges. The first challenge is the Tamil film Valimai, which is also being released in Hindi extensively on February 24. Ajit and Huma Qureshi are in the lead roles in this action film. After the success of Pushpa – The Rise in the Hindi belt, there is a lot of curiosity among the audience of the Hindi belt about South Indian films.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film Gangubai Kathiawadi is reaching the theaters on February 25. The film stars Alia Bhatt in the lead role, while Ajay Devgn will make a cameo appearance in the role of Rahim Lala. There is a lot of discussion about this film of Alia and the film can create problems for Badhaai Do.
