Bangladeshi cricketer again crosses the boundary on the field, caught advising the opposition batsman to bang him, video goes viral

The incident happened during the second ODI match between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. Now the video is being shared very fast.

Bangladesh’s wicketkeeper-batsman Mushfiqur Rahim is again seen getting caught in the controversy. During the second ODI against Sri Lanka, he is heard asking Bangladesh spinner Mehdi Hasan Miraj to stop the path of Sri Lankan batsman Pathum Nisanka. His talk is recorded in the stump mic. Now this recording is being shared quite a lot on social media. Rahim scored 125 runs in 127 balls in this match. Due to this, Bangladesh won the second consecutive match and took an unassailable 2-0 lead in the ODI series. But now Rahim is in the news due to the conversation recorded in the stump mic.

In the video that is going viral, he is heard saying to Miraj in Bangla language, “If he comes in front of you to take a run, then drop him on the field.” After the video surfaced, questions are constantly being raised about the sportsmanship of Mushfiqur Rahim. Much is being written against him on social media. However, so far no statement has been received from Bangladesh or Sri Lankan cricket team in this matter. Also, there has been no response from Rahim. He has been in controversies many times before. Bangladesh’s big win in rain-interrupted match
Earlier, with the help of Mushfiqur Rahim’s eighth century, Bangladesh won the first ODI series against their rival by defeating Sri Lanka by 103 runs in the rain-affected second ODI by Duckworth Lewis Padavati. The rain hampered Bangladesh’s innings twice. Bangladesh, batting first, scored 246 runs in 48.1 overs. Sri Lanka’s score was 126 for nine after 38 overs when rain interrupted the match for the third time.

After this, a target of 245 runs in 40 overs was set in front of Sri Lanka by Duckworth Lewis Padwati. Meaning he had to score 119 runs in the last two overs. Sri Lanka finally scored 141 runs for nine wickets. This is Bangladesh’s first win in a series against Sri Lanka in any format.

After winning the match, Mushfiqur Rahim said that it is good to contribute to the win. However, he expressed disappointment at being dismissed before the last over. He said that improvement is needed right now and the team will have to be fearless.
