You can complain
If any bank puts your account in minus and asks you to repay the minus balance to close the account, then you can complain about it to RBI. For this you will have to go to bankingombudsman.rbi.org.in and register your complaint. Apart from this, you can also complain on the helpline number of RBI. After this, action can also be taken against the bank. Also you will not have to pay any money.
